Lisa Black has spent her career handling a variety of litigation in both Federal and New York state courts, including Federal Civil Rights Actions brought pursuant to 42 USC §1983 civil rights and class action cases for false arrest, malicious prosecution and excessive force from inception through motion practice and trial. She also specializes in the defense of New York State Labor Law and construction related matters, premises and products liability, lead paint and toxic exposure matters. She has significant municipal defense experience including motor vehicle/school bus negligence cases.
